About CAPT

The Govt. of India approved the establishment of a Central Academy for Police Training (CAPT) at Bhopal in 2009 to impart training to the directly recruited Dy. SPs of the states and police trainers from all over the country.

The aim is to develop Central Academy for Police Training as Central Training Establishment of a global standard for group ‘A’ Police, Jail & Prosecution services.
